Poonam Dhillon and Laila Lamba at Brinda Miller Art Show

When an artist as loved (and not to mention, talented) as Brinda Chudasama Miller hosts a solo show in the city after three long years, is it well-wishers and art ficionados make a beeline to the preview?
Well, that’s exactly what happened at the Museum art gallery, where Brinda along with Kalpana Shah’s Tao art gallery hosted ‘Chromazone’, a collection of colourful abstracts inspired from her travels to Mexico and South Africa.

Sarayu Doshi, one of the earliest to come in was lavish in her praise for the work. Laila Khan, seen on the scene after a hiatus, was appreciative of Brinda’s “thoughtful use of colour”. Jaideep Mehrotra came with wife Seema.

The couple capers continued with Sunil and Tanuja Padwal as also Arzan and Khushnuma Khambatta, Kishore and Rekha Shivdasani, who were seen after a long time; Bina and Talat Aziz, whose love for good art brought them all the way from the burbs. Others present were Zeba Kohli, Vijay Kalantri, Jenny Bhatt, Nawaz Mody Singhania, Priyasri Patodia, Sangita Jindal, Poonam Soni, and Puja Kshatriya.
